Greetings, Bennett FAMILIES!

Words cannot begin to describe how excited I am to continue as the Principal of Bennett Elementary! I have spent twenty-five years in education as a teacher, literacy coach and assistant principal, preparing for this role and I am anxious to begin my third year as the leader of Bennett Elementary School. Great things are coming!

I became an administrator in order to be the leader I needed as a student and teacher, which is someone who is supportive, encouraging, empowering, and present! I value the time I spend with our teachers, staff, students, and parents, therefore I do not spend a lot of time in my office. You will find me in classrooms, in the cafeteria, in the hallway, outside with the buses, and at school events.

As Principal, I work alongside teachers to ensure that all of our students are receiving the authentic, relevant instruction they need and deserve in order to be successful. At Bennett ES, we want our students to be critical thinkers, creators, collaborators, communicators, and good citizens. These skills are embedded into the student learning opportunities and experiences developed by our teachers. We seek to build a joyful, engaging learning environment where all students thrive.

Please know that I consider each day an amazing opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of those I serve. I love each of our students and staff members with all my heart and value who they are as individuals. Bennett Elementary is such a positive place because of the amazing, dedicated people who learn and grow together each day!
