We are thrilled to continue the Bear Watch program at Bennett ES this year! It is a fantastic opportunity for parents, guardians, and caregivers to volunteer and get involved. Whether it is assisting in classrooms, around the building, or during lunch, there is a place for everyone. Sign up using this link  and reach out to Claudia Ramirez with any questions.

Bear Watch Parents and Students

Volunteer Guidelines 

  • Please sign up at least 2 days in advance.
    • This gives me time to plan and coordinate with the teacher to create a schedule for you that aligns with your child's schedule.
  • Classroom placement is not guaranteed.
    • I’ll do my best, but I can’t promise you’ll be in your student’s classroom the entire time.
  • Testing or graded activities may limit access.
    • If there’s a test or graded assignment happening, I won’t be able to place you in that classroom.
  • Always bring your ID.
    • The front office will sign you in, and you’ll need to wear your ID badge visibly at all times. 
  • You have the authority to report any suspicious activity.
    • If you notice anything concerning, please speak with someone in the front office right away.
