Parent Liaison

About me:

Hello, I am Claudia Ramirez, Parent Liaison at Bennett! My goal as a parent liaison is to strengthen the bridge between the school, parents, and students. I work hard to facilitate clear and consistent communication in the best interests of students and their families. I assist families in understanding the school system and provide information and resources to help parents support their children's education. I also organize and promote events that encourage family involvement in the school community, such as workshops, parent-teacher meetings, and cultural events.

Parent liaisons build strong connections between the school and families. We:

  1. Facilitate communication by ensuring parents receive clear and timely information.
  2. Provide support in understanding the school system and accessing resources.
  3. Organize events that encourage family involvement, like workshops and cultural celebrations.
  4. Advocate for families by representing their concerns to school staff.
  5. Connect families with community resources.
  6. Foster engagement in school activities and volunteer opportunities.
  7. Build relationships to create an inclusive school environment.

Overall, parent liaisons are essential in creating a collaborative and supportive school community, bridging the gap between school and home for students' success.

Check out some of the exciting activities we have lined up:

  • Conversational English Classes for families
