About me:
Hello, I am Claudia Ramirez, Parent Liaison at Bennett! My goal as a parent liaison is to strengthen the bridge between the school, parents, and students. I work hard to facilitate clear and consistent communication in the best interests of students and their families. I assist families in understanding the school system and provide information and resources to help parents support their children's education. I also organize and promote events that encourage family involvement in the school community, such as workshops, parent-teacher meetings, and cultural events.
Parent liaisons build strong connections between the school and families. We:
- Facilitate communication by ensuring parents receive clear and timely information.
- Provide support in understanding the school system and accessing resources.
- Organize events that encourage family involvement, like workshops and cultural celebrations.
- Advocate for families by representing their concerns to school staff.
- Connect families with community resources.
- Foster engagement in school activities and volunteer opportunities.
- Build relationships to create an inclusive school environment.
Overall, parent liaisons are essential in creating a collaborative and supportive school community, bridging the gap between school and home for students' success.
