The Virginia Council on the Educational Opportunity for Military Children voted on October 1, 2025, to approve Bennett Elementary School as a recipient of the SY 2025-2026 Purple Star 2nd Award. This award designation is valid for a period of three school years beginning with the school year 2024-2025.
We are very proud to support our military connected students and their families. Our whole Bennett ES community takes pride in our designation as a Second Time Virginia Distinguished Purple Star School for Supporting Military Connected Students.
