As a part of our celebration of Hispanic Herritage Month, our students were excited to welcome Angela Dominguez to Bennett ES on October 9, 2024. Bennett's Librarian, Mrs. McMahon, orgnized this memorable event to introduce our students to a local author. Ms. Dominguez shared her creative process and her artistic abilites as she drew some of her favorite characters. Our Bennett Bears asked some great questions and left with excitement to make their own books. Students had the opportunity to get books signed and a group of students who are interested in becoming an author had a special session with Ms. Dominguez to learn more about her journey.

A big thank you to our Bennett PTO who donated 15 copies of Angela Dominguez's books to our Bennett Library. Our students will love seeing more of her work especially now that they have such a special connection to the author.
