Student registration for school year 2026-27 begins on March 16, 2026 for the 2026-27 school year. 

 

The first step is to verify your base school and PWCS has a great tool for that called Find My School.

 

The Registration Process has multiple steps and can be found at the link. Some of the documents you will need include: 

1. Your student's original birth certificate or certified copy.
2. Documentation to support home ownership or a lease for property in Prince William County.
3. Two additional documents to prove your residency selected from the following:
4. Negative results of a tuberculosis screening test for students who have been outside the United States or U.S. territories for three or more consecutive months during the five years before the registration date.
5. A comprehensive physical examination for students in grades K-5 performed within 12 months before the date the student first enters public school. 
6. Proof of Required Immunizations.
7. A copy of the current Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for students receiving special education services.
8. Custody documents, if applicable.
