BENNETT ELEMENTARY 5th GRADE STRINGS

Welcome to the webpage for Bennett Elementary 5th Grade Strings! If you have questions or need extra help, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Strings class is available to any interested 5th grader. The class is free and takes place twice a week during the school day. While registration has closed, we can still consider students on a case by case basis. Please contact me if you are interested in joining.

Announcements

I hope everybody is doing well after our first week away from school! As I mentioned below, I will be providing optional online lessons during the closure, however I strongly recommend students review the lessons with their free time as we are slowly building the skills necessary to be successful in music at the middle school level. Whether it be band, choir, or orchestra, these skills will all universally apply.

1.) I have posted all of the items for this week's lesson. Due to file size, they are available exclusively on our website at https://bennettes.pwcs.edu/teams/specialists/strings_-_mr__saunders/files_and_documents.

2.) Students additionally have the option to participate in a recording challenge. Students can send in a video recording of themselves playing the D Major Scale via email or through YouTube. With your permission, I will select a few outstanding videos to share electronically with the class. I went over what I am criteria I am looking for when selecting videos in the weekly video lesson.
